My elderly mum has been getting loads of calls from someone saying she owes cash and could fall behind on payments for some drainage insurance. It's been happening quite a few times and is really worrying her.

Some woman called up saying her name was Haley and asked specifically for me. She then went on about some drainage cover I supposedly had with them. I cut her off straight away and told her I didn’t have any drainage cover at all since I rent and my landlord sorts all that out. Definitely another scammer using a fresh phone number. I’ve had loads of calls like this, all trying the same trick. It’s so frustrating how these scammers keep twisting to get money or personal info.
