Just got a phone call not long ago from someone saying they were with a PPI firm, but they wouldn't say which one. They told me I was owed more than £3000, but they had the wrong address for me. When they asked for my current address, I didn’t provide it. Honestly, they seemed really rude and not helpful at all.

Just got a phone call from someone saying they're from a PPI claims firm. They asked if I had completed a PPI claim form. I told them I've no idea what they're referring to and haven't filled anything out. After a big sigh, they just ended the call.

Got a call from this number claiming I had won over £3000 in a PPI claim with Easy Claim. When I contacted them, they told me they don’t handle PPI at all. Definitely a scam, watch out!

About half an hour ago, this number rang me. I picked up but then hung up straight away. Strange!

I have no clue who this could be. At first glance, it looks like a legit mobile number, but when you try calling it back, there's an automated message saying the number is out of service. Feels like one of those dodgy scams from abroad. I reckon companies in the UK are meant to show their real number, so this might be a sneaky method to make you answer.

No matter how many times I say I’m not interested, these calls just keep coming and it’s beyond annoying. They’re like a constant pest, no respect for your wishes at all.

Loads of calls popping up from Aviva's Asian office, all from numbers that look pretty much the same. I joked with one lady saying I'd hit option 1, you know, the ‘sexy cruise’ one, and she actually threatened to sue me! Funny thing is, they got my postcode all wrong, so I'm not too bothered at all. These calls are hilarious in a weird way. Anyone started a petition to tighten up the rules on how they get personal info? Would be good to see some changes.

Got a call from someone saying they were from Aviva. I told her to remove me from their calling list. She kept saying she wasn’t trying to push any products on me. Still, I told her I wasn’t interested and again asked to be taken off. She just cut the call right away after that.

Got lots of calls supposedly from Aviva life insurance, but every time I tried to ask a question, they’d just end the call. When I rang the number back, I got that usual BT recording saying “The number you have dialled isn’t recognised - please hang up and try again.” Definitely felt dodgy to me.

Had a woman with what sounded like an Asian accent ring me up today, asking all sorts about my life insurance. When I couldn’t recall the company off the top of my head, she just got annoyed and hung up on me while I was still talking. Honestly, these lot are complete muppets and proper dodgy!

Absolute scammer alert! I got a call today from someone named Peter (as if) claiming to be from Legal and General. He wanted me to confirm my postcode, but the moment I asked what it was for, he just abruptly ended the call. Honestly, when will the authorities finally track these nuisances down and make them pay? Here’s hoping they catch them soon - these sorts really deserve a harsh punishment!

Someone said they were from Aviva, but when I told them to remove me from their list, they kept saying they weren't selling anything. I still told them to take me off because I didn’t want anything to do with Aviva, and then they just cut the call straight away.

I got a call from someone saying my PPI claim had gone through, then they tried to get me on a call about claiming some tax refund. I told him to simply post me the cheque as I wasn’t up for dealing with the tax claim stuff. After that he just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was with Aviva. She wanted to know if my postcode started with ‘AL####’, which it didn’t. When I asked her repeatedly if she was really from Aviva Insurance, she just ignored and kept pressing for my real postcode. After a while, she just ended the call. Proper pain in the backside, all of them.

I just ended the call right away and have blocked the number now. Honestly, I can't figure out how they get hold of our numbers and keep doing this. Got a call from someone pretending to be a claims firm I supposedly have business with, saying I’m owed a refund. They mentioned someone else would ring me about recovering tax money. Then they said if I took out some insurance, they’d release the funds. Another number has since been ringing me about 11 times, clearly trying to fishing for my bank info. Properly annoyed since they already had the real company’s details I usually deal with.

Ugh, this number is so irritating, just like loads of others! Honestly, why isn't there some global blocking gadget that can spot numbers that have never rung you before or figure out if it’s a scam, a sales call, an office, or just someone annoying you out of nowhere? Anyway, that’s enough ranting for me. By the way, this site has been super useful, so thanks for that!

This number kept ringing me a few times lately. Whenever I picked up and said hello, they just dropped the call straight away. If I didn’t answer and let it go to voicemail, then a mysterious ‘unknown’ number would ring me right after. So, I ended up blocking them.
