I picked up because I was expecting an important call. The person had a foreign accent and knew my full name, saying they were calling from some credit check place. Then they went with that pointless "how are you today?" question. By the time I tried to say goodbye, they were shouting "hello! hello!" at me. Definitely blocked now!

I got a call from a bloke called Alan, sounded foreign, saying he got my details about some unpaid debts. He claimed to be from the ‘credit claims department’ or something like that. I’m pretty sure it was total nonsense and just some kind of scam attempt.

Got a call from a firm pushing IVAs; all they had was my name and birthdate. They claimed to be in Manchester but I reckon they’re actually outside the UK. Had a quick word with a supervisor who said his name was Allan. Strange setup, if you ask me.
