I got a call from someone saying they're with EE, telling me about a discount on my contract and that I'd get an email about it. Thing is, I never got any email. There was loads of noise in the background like it was a busy call centre. I know not all callers from India are dodgy, but I couldn’t help feeling a bit suspicious.

I didn't answer, thought it might be spam.

Got a text sayin they phoned me at a specific time but didn’t leave any voicemail. When I looked at my recent calls, there was no record of their call at all. That right there makes me think it’s a scam. So, I’ve blocked the number and reported it.
