I got a call from some call centre about my phone contract. The person on the other end was really hard to make out, and then suddenly the line just cut off.

Got a call today, sounded like some busy call centre with loads of noise in the back. A guy said he was ringing from BT and that my number had been picked for a special EE deal. Tried to get him to explain what the call was about but couldn’t catch what he was saying properly, so I just ended the call.

Got a call earlier, the phone said it belonged to sjg builders, but the website linked to the number was empty and listed under a different name. When I picked up, some foreign woman said she was ringing from 3 phone company. Definitely a SCAM.
