On the 31st of October, I got a message saying they were providing health and wellbeing help through my doctor’s office. The next day, 1st of November, I rang up the surgery to check if the message was genuine, but the person at reception had no clue about any of it.

Got a text earlier saying they could help with home support, money advice and care services. They asked me for my DOB and name, and even ended it with the name of my nearby doctor's surgery. Bit suspicious to me.

Got a call from 07903594569 reminding me about an appointment at Lawson Road Surgery on Thursday 22 April at 5:30pm. Apparently, it could be a phone consultation. They said to text 'cancel' if I can’t make it and not to go to the surgery unless told otherwise. Also, if they do ask me to come in, I need to wear a face mask or covering.

I got a message asking me to go to Falklands Surgery in Bradwell, Great Yarmouth on the 10th of April for my second covid jab, which is where I normally go. I rang the surgery using the usual number and they said the message was legit, told me to reply yes and that I'd get an appointment slot. So, it does appear to be a genuine message after all.

Got a message saying "second reminder katvre" about a phone I'd apparently won... seemed a bit fishy to me.

seems like this is some kind of automated message used by clinics throughout england, or maybe the whole uk, to send out info. i got one saying it was from drayton health practice offering a free flu vaccine for a mr andrew hill. obviously, that’s not me. the weird thing is, it did include the real phone number of the practice to ring and arrange a jab. so, i wouldn’t call it spam or a scam really.

Got a text apparently from my doc’s office, saying I could get a flu jab and giving dates for the clinic. It said I could book through the NHS App or ring the reception, but if I wasn’t interested in the vaccine I should just reply with a certain code. Seems a bit fishy to me.

Got a text sayin I was eligible for a Covid jab and could get one at Norfolk and Norwich hospital, but asked me to ring my local surgery to book it. Since I’m in a vulnerable group and was expecting some sort of message, I kinda just took it at face value even though it was a bit odd they told me to call my GP rather than booking directly.

Got a voicemail from 07903594569 on my phone, but it was really unclear where it was coming from. It showed up as a private number and the message seemed like official stuff, maybe from the government or health services. It mentioned something about the Covid-19 Germ Defence, made by scientists in Bristol working with Public Health England, with a link to click on. Tried calling the number back but it’s blocked on return calls. When I used my landline, it just went straight to engaged after a quick tone. Got a voicemail on my cell from 07903594569 early on Saturday, somethin about a new covid-19 germ defence made by scientists in Bristol or summat like that. Then they asked me to click on a link. I tried calling back a few times but every time it just went straight to engaged or someone hangs up. Definitely dodgy, not legit at all - seems like a typical scam to me. I got a text saying it was from Thorpewood Medical Group telling me to download some app. Thought it was weird so I rang their reception. The lady there said she wasnt certain it was really from them since usually they send a normal text reminder a day or two before any appointments I have. Felt fishy to me.
