Complete scam alert! They claimed to be from a bank’s PPI team saying I was owed £2550 plus £1550 interest. When they asked where I banked, I said “Paris Bank” which isn’t real, and they couldn’t tell. They pressed on, giving me a reference and ID number, saying they never ask for card or bank details. Oddly, they said the money was in some wallet thing? Then, got switched to another guy with an accent who wanted those numbers again. I fed him fake ones, and it all seemed fishy right from the word go. Total con, watch out!

Had a call from some Asian con artists trying to scam my bank info. I gave gov.org/phishing a shout about it. Better safe than sorry!
