Got a text on my phone saying 'nationwide - alert payment attempted' but I didn’t make any transactions. Sounds like a phishing attempt to me. I’m just gonna block the sender and delete the message straight away... don’t trust anything like this.

Got a text warning me that there was a payment tried on Nationwide from a new gadget, and if it wasn’t me, I should head over to nationwide-transfer-support[###]. Thing is, I don’t even have an account with Nationwide! Definitely don’t click that link. If you’re unsure, just give Nationwide a call to check.
