Just got a call from someone saying hi Mum, and that they were texting from a mate’s phone cos theirs got water damaged. They then asked me to message this new number sms:+447897036335. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

I just received a message from +447383532808 saying "Hi mum, my phone got water damaged, so I’ve used a mate’s phone to message you. My new number is +447897036335." Both of these numbers are definitely scams. I’ve already reported them to 7726.
