They’re a legitimate company - I’ve taken loans from them before. If someone needs money urgently, they can simply get funding from a lender. That’s essentially what they do.

Got a call out of the blue from someone saying they were with "DST Capital", trying to sell small business loans. It's the fifth time in a day I've had calls like this, from firms with vaguely trustworthy names that don't even show up on Google. Seems like a total con, probably using a big list of business numbers. I reckon they're getting info from Companies House somehow, maybe through some security hole in the Gov One system.
