I had a look at the websites of all the salons I use, even the one for my dog, and couldn’t find anything that matched. Feels like a scam to me, but I’m not totally sure what the scam’s meant to achieve.11 monthsGot a dodgy text saying, "It's been ages since your last visit, ring the salon to sort your next appointment." Obviously blocked straight away!1 yearGot a text about an appointment reminder that felt a bit off and pushy. They ask you to write down your appointment as soon as you get it, which is fair. Then they say the day-before reminder is just a favour they do at their own expense. The kicker is their cancellation rule - you’ve got to give 48 hours notice or pay in full. Apparently, they’ve lost over £200 recently from last minute cancellations, and for a small business, that really hurts.
