At first, I didn’t catch on that it was a scam, but when I received another call with the exact same story, I got suspicious and decided to hang up and call NatWest directly. The first caller even sent me messages asking for certain codes to supposedly get the charges refunded. Looking back, I should have known it was dodgy, but being older and not great with technology, I got caught out.
