I’ve just had a communication from the Essex Police Communications Department regarding an elderly lady who received a call from this number. She’s feeling quite unsettled as it came through as a silent call with no one speaking on the other end, leaving her rather anxious.

Some guy named Alex gave me a ring. Ages ago, like 4 years back, I’d foolishly signed up for his computer service and paid for a year’s protection. Now he’s hitting me up to cough up for 3 years of unpaid fees, claiming I agreed to extra firewall cover - apparently there’s a bit on my computer as “proof.” Complete rubbish, if you ask me. He wanted 1000 bucks for each year supposedly owing. I just ended the call. But then he kept blasting my phone 28 TIMES within three hours! Finally, I’ve blocked him. Proper harassment, and honestly, his pressure nearly convinced me!

So I got a call from a bloke who said his name was Peter. He wanted to know my name, but I didn’t tell him. Then I asked what he wanted, and he said something about offering software services but needing to get into my computer. Definitely sounded dodgy to me.

I got a call from an automated bot! It’s linked to some scam crews that blast out tons of calls daily, all trying to snatch money from folks. First, they’ll tempt you with some amazing offer to hook you in, then they start prying for your personal info. The worst bit? They want you to pay a tiny fee over the phone. Don’t fall for it - they could drain your bank account within hours!

I got calls from 0789456123, supposedly from a firm named Techzone Solutions based in the US. They kept pushing that they’d charge me amounts starting around $599 on my credit card. They were super persistent, ringing loads of times on both my mobile and landline. They gave me a Freephone number to call back, but when I did, they wanted remote access to my PC to “stop” the payment. Honestly, steer well clear of these lot.

Got a call from this number recently, similar to what others have said. It kicked off about three weeks ago with a threat asking for £2000 for some "internet security" service. They said if I wanted to cancel this so-called contract, I had to download a form - yeah, like I was going to do that! They reckoned it’d cost £2000 per year for five years if I didn’t pay. The supposed deadline passed ages ago but now I’m getting calls nearly every day, from loads of different numbers. This one’s definitely going straight into my Action Fraud report folder.

Today, I received a distressing phone call meant for my elderly mother. The caller claimed they were going to deduct £7999 from her account for a computer security system. Naturally, I contacted her bank and reported the incident to Action Fraud. I told that fool to get lost, yet he persisted in ringing her back. Quite unbelievable, really!

Received a rather ominous call today, with the individual claiming they’d somehow gain entry to my bank details and even disrupt my computer and phone. I promptly informed them that their behaviour was harassing and I would not hesitate to report them. They attempted to ring me back four times in rapid succession, insisting I "pay attention!" Clearly, they weren't pleased when I hung up on them-such a pity!

I received a call from this number asking for my NatWest security information. It’s quite strange, really, considering that NatWest typically communicates such updates directly to me, and they already have all my details on file. The whole thing just doesn’t add up.

I got a call from someone, sounded American, who knew my full name even though I never really use my first name. He said £3000 was about to be taken from my bank and asked what I wanted him to do about it. I wasn’t exactly nice in my reply, and then he tried calling again. I just didn’t pick up the second time.
