I got an automated phone call claiming it was from HMRC saying I’d supposedly turned down a registered letter delivery (but if that was true, wouldn’t I have got a card through my door??). They told me to press 1 to talk to someone or I’d face legal trouble. I pressed 1 and got put through to a bloke who just said hello then asked for my name, never actually saying he was from HMRC. So I just hung up and blocked the number. Sounds pretty risky to me.
