Got a call today around half past twelve, some bloke saying he was from BT, saying they were working on network stuff nearby (which we don’t even have). He then tried to palm off a “refund” but asked for my bank details, like the sort code and account number. Totally sounded like an Indian accent, probably from some call centre overseas. Cheers to the UK firms shipping jobs abroad, making this all possible. Just blocked the number - no way I’m getting caught out by one of those UK-registered throwaway phones.
