Someone I don’t recognise called my mobile, and from what I’ve heard, it’s likely a scam.

Someone called claiming to be from a firm named Jacobs. I received some letters from them about council tax, but when I tried to set up a payment plan, they insisted on a £1200 lump sum. Honestly, it feels like a proper scam just trying to make money! They can forget about me paying them anything else - they’d see me in prison first. It’s so unprofessional to be ringing a mobile like that. Hopefully, no one else falls for this rubbish!
