I received this message just moments after I made a purchase from Wayfair. How can that even happen? Just a heads-up: you've got to reply to this or we won't be able to process any future card transactions. Lloyds Bank has flagged that your Lloyds Credit card ending in xxxx was attempted for a payment at WF *UK4180760444 on 29-01-2024 at 12:42:25 for the amount of £108.96, but it didn’t go through. If this was indeed you, please respond with a YES; if not, hit us back with a NO.

I received a call from something called Premier Offers, and it turns out they're holding on to customer credit card information from past transactions. They then go ahead and charge for club memberships that many folks haven't even signed up for! Luckily, my bank was on the ball and flagged it as a fraudulent charge, preventing them from taking any money from me.
