Got a text from what said it was PayPal, warning me about someone trying to add a new payee on my account. It told me to check it out by clicking a link. When I did, the website popped up a message saying the connection wasn’t secure and to go back to the homepage. The link looked dodgy: [#]ppsecure.xyz/paypal. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Got a text from PayPal saying someone tried to add a new payee or something odd like that. It had a link saying to check it out here https:/ppsecure.xyz/PayPal. It seemed a bit dodgy to me, so I just ignored it.
