Got a call from someone saying they were Barclays, but from a branch I’ve never even been to. They started off asking how I was managing with everything going on because of the pandemic, then offered to help with my account. The lady spoke super slowly and in this patronising kind of way, like she was trying to be nice but it really didn’t feel right. Before ending the call, she asked if I was okay to answer some security questions. Honestly, it made me feel really uneasy. I think anyone would feel the same.
