It seems that I received a call from Citizens Advice regarding some supposed unsecured debts. However, upon informing them that I was debt-free, they promptly cut the conversation short and ended the call. Quite peculiar, to say the least!

Got a call from some private investigation lot saying I owe them cash and can't pay up, which is nonsense. No idea who they are. The guy had a really strong Indian or Asian accent. When I started asking if it was a scam, he just told me to bugger off. Definitely fishy!

Got a call from a private number, they said they were from Credit Investigations Limited and used our name. As we talked more, it felt like they might be some kind of loan sharks, so we just stopped the chat. We never shared any info with them. What worries me is that our details must have been sold to them somehow, which seems pretty dodgy and probably against the law.

So I got called by an asian lady who wanted to chat to my missus, using her full name and title. I told her there isn’t anyone with that name at our place. Then she switched it up and asked to speak to me, again using my full name and title. I told her the same thing, nobody here by that name. Seems like with the new UK rules on phone spam, these scammers have moved over to using mobiles now? How the hell do we put a stop to these cheats?

I got a call from someone claiming to be from credit enforcement saying I had debts to pay. Didn't even bother arguing, just blocked the number straight away!

I got a call from someone pretending to be with Citizens Advice, telling me I'd got debts I needed to sort out. I asked who the creditors were, but the person just ended the call straight away.
