Just got a call and all I heard was silence. I stayed quiet too, hoping somebody would eventually say something, but after about 35 seconds of dead air, I just ended the call. Thought it might be from some call centre, but no luck!

This bloke swore up and down he was calling on behalf of the NHS. He wanted to know if I’d had my two covid vaccinations and whether I was happy with my doctor. I fibbed, saying my GP’s hair looked dreadful! But he wouldn’t back down, claiming he was from the NHS fraud investigation team. I told him to just send me a letter instead, but he kept going, so in the end, I just hung up. Was pretty funny really.

They've rung me twice already today, and that's on top of three calls over the past few days. It starts with my landline, and no sooner have I hung up than my mobile rings. They’re always trying to push some extended warranty which I’m not interested in at all.
