a bloke with an indian accent called, claiming he worked for the uk government. i told him i’m on the tps and to take my number off their list. he just replied "right, fine" and i hung up straight away.

Received a call claiming I owed more than £5,000 on some unsecured loans. When I asked for all the information in writing to show my solicitor, the bloke got really nasty and hung up on me. He sounded pretty aggressive and actually had my name and address, which I have no clue how he got - must’ve been sold to him or something. Proper dodgy behaviour.

got a call from someone claiming to be mike at citizens advice, said my unsecured loans folks had contacted them. when i asked for details about these loans, he just hung up on me and the number was blocked after. i don’t actually have any unsecured loans, so bit fishy if you ask me.

I received a call from someone speaking in a foreign accent, claiming to represent a debt charity wanting to assist us with our financial troubles. Quite unusual, as she managed to weave her way into our blocked contacts list!

Received a call from this number earlier today around half past nine, but as soon as we answered, there was nothing but silence on the other end. Having seen various remarks from others, I've decided it's high time to add this one to my blocked contacts list. Just another nuisance to contend with!

We had a chat with the Citizens Advice Bureau and realised that these individuals were ringing from mobile numbers we didn’t recognise. We suspect it’s a scam of some sort. We've gone ahead and blocked the number.
