Got a call from someone claiming to be HMRC, but it started with this weird automated message, with a pretty off American accent, warning me about legal action unless I send in my tax return quick. Thing is, my tax return isn’t due for ages yet, so it really felt dodgy. Didn’t bother talking to anyone on the line after that. Definitely sounds like a scam to me!
