Phone number ☎️ 07860039092 👆 is reported as a mixed experience NHS-related number used primarily by DrDoctor, a third-party company contracted by the NHS to send appointment reminders, digital letters, and surveys. Many users confirm it as genuine and useful for accessing hospital communications online, requiring basic personal details for verification. However, others express concerns due to unclear messages, unexpected links, and the number sometimes being spoofed by scammers trying to phish for information. Hello, Just a quick note to remind you that you have a gynae appointment today, the 16th of June, at Maumbury Outpatients. When you arrive, please head to the Eye Department receptionist through East Wing Entrance 2 to check in. After that, they’ll show you where to wait for your appointment. Sorry if this causes any hassle. Cheers, Outpatient Team Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

Got a message from this number. Was waiting on an appointment, but when I called the surgery, they said there’s nothing scheduled for me. This isn’t the first time I’m getting texts from them, so why isn’t this website blocked already? It’s really annoying.

Got a dodgy text asking me to confirm a hospital appointment with a link to drdoctor.thirdparty.nhs.uk. Thought it might be a scam, so I rang the hospital’s main number and spoke to the department directly. Turns out it’s real, though they said loads of people ring up to check if it’s genuine or a con.

Got a text from #### saying something about an appointment with Bedfordshire Hospitals. The message had a link (drdoctor.thirdparty.nhs.uk) so I looked it up on Google first and it looked genuine enough. When I clicked, it brought me to a site that looked just like the NHS one and asked me to enter my info. I've had texts like this before where they just ask if I still want the appointment but never asked for personal details. So I didn't fill anything in. I think I'll give the hospital a call to be safe.

Got a text from this number asking me to complete some NHS info form. I’m on the waiting list for surgery, so I asked my surgeon’s secretary about it. She also rang the relevant hospital department and confirmed it’s a total scam. Neither the hospital nor my GP has sent me anything like that. It felt off anyway since I only had my initial consultation a month ago, and there’s no chance I’d get a pre-op appointment this early when the NHS tells me surgery will be at least a year away. Seriously, double check with your doctor or hospital before clicking on any links!!!

If this message genuinely came from DrDoctor, and people in other comments are saying it is legit, then honestly they should be embarrassed for sending a dodgy link like that. There’s just too much about it that doesn’t feel right for me to trust it. I’ll wait and see if they actually upload the letter like they say they will. Until then, I’d definitely stay cautious.

Got a text completely unexpected about an eye check-up at Moorefield Eye Centre in Ealing Hospital, scheduled for January 2026. The message said I could verify the appointment through the NHS app and included a link. I didn’t click the link though, instead, I went and downloaded the app straight from the Google Play Store and had a look. I recently got messages from the number 07860039092, and after some digging, found out it’s from Dr Doctor. They’re not actually the NHS, but they work alongside them to send out patient info. I’ve been getting texts about appointments for Birmingham Children's Hospital, with a link they want you to press. Almost clicked it since me and my lad have loads of NHS appointments anyway. WATCH OUT - This phone number might actually appear on DrDoctor.co.uk and even be approved by some GPs. BUT, it’s been faked by scammers who send out dangerous links supposedly to fill out forms "to stay on a surgery waiting list." The legitimate healthcare provider took 4 days and loads of emails and calls to confirm this scam. Be really careful if you get messages from this number. Always double-check with your healthcare service before clicking anything, as the links look legit but are actually phishing threats!

I'm a bit iffy about this phone number. It looks like it’s connected to the NHS, but it mentions 'thank you for choosing paperless' and I don't recall ever opting in for that. The text seemed a bit dodgy at first but I can vouch it’s genuine. They should’ve also sent you an email (don’t forget to peek in the junk folder!) which you can use to verify the text is safe. If you’re still unsure, just reply with “PRINT” and they’ll send the info through a regular paper letter instead.
