Signed up to be a blood donor last year but never managed to give blood. Just received a text saying "Thanks for signing up as a blood donor. Curious about your blood group? We can send a home test kit so you can check - just reply with 'test'." Normally, these messages come from a number branded with NHS, so this one seems a bit unusual.

I signed up to be a blood donor like 7 months back or more, and only now did I get a text saying "thanks for joining as a blood donor. Fancy knowing your blood group?
