Reports on phone number 07860034502
10 yearsReceived a text today from 07860034502 The message claimed they were attempting to reach me about my PPI Claim and stated they now have the amount I’m owed. I was instructed to reply with “POST,” and they’d send a package. Be warned, this is a SCAM. Chances are you’ve never had any correspondence with them before, nor have you ever held an insurance policy (PPI), let alone filed a claim. That being said, some people may have had dealings with different companies regarding this. Best to simply IGNORE it. Do not respond in any form. It’s a marketing ploy aimed at fishing for your details or duping you into a costly reply, as text responses can incur high charges, or they may sell your information on and call you directly, banking on the fact that someone will pick up. As for how they obtained your number, they likely purchased a list of contacts from an online database, which is all too common these days. You may have unwittingly provided your details during online shopping or social networking - data mining is incredibly easy in the current digital age. This number should definitely be blocked, and legal action ought to be taken against those responsible for such deceitful practices.POST11 yearsI can't seem to escape the relentless barrage of text messages; they just keep coming!11 yearsWhat a bizarre encounter!12 yearsReceiving non-stop PPI texts every few minutes is becoming quite the nuisance.13 yearsI’ve been inundated with messages every twelve minutes, and it just won't let up. The only recourse I found was to lodge a complaint with the ICO.ICO13 yearsI keep getting messages about a PPI plan that we’ve never actually asked for. It's rather annoying, to be honest.13 yearsGot a text today from 07860034502 saying they've been trying to reach me about a PPI claim and they have info on how much I'm owed. They asked me to reply with “POST” so they could send me a pack. This is absolutely a con. Chances are you’ve never even had PPI in the first place, let alone made a claim with any firm (though some might have with other companies). Best not to respond at all. It’s just a marketing ploy to grab your contact details, either to charge you through texts or sell your info on, then call you knowing someone might pick up. How do they get your number? They probably bought a list somewhere online. It’s all too simple these days with so much info shared on shopping sites or social media. This scammer needs reporting and the number blocked, those behind this should be tracked down and punished.13 yearsGot a message about a PPI claim I never even filed.
