Got a text off someone called Lindsay from this number, saying something about new strings fun and also said a message is waiting, then asked how old I was. Didn't reply of course, sounds like a total scam. Anyone knows how to block this for good?

Just like what loads of folks have said here! They say it’s all harmless and then when I asked who was calling, the person said it’s Lindsey and even sent a pic of herself. Honestly, we really need to put an end to these muppets messing about!

It's honestly baffling how these dodgy scammers keep getting through, and we're the ones stuck dealing with the mess. Isn't there some authority meant to stop this kind of blatant rip-off? Being charged for nuisance calls or texts is just bonkers and feels downright illegal to me. I'm proper annoyed about it and plan to make a fuss until someone steps up and sorts this out. So I answered asking who's this and then got a message like "Ella wants to meet up today now pls xx." After that, I received a text from 82233 saying I'd been sent a pic but had to be 18 to see it and to reply with my age. Seriously, made me laugh!

I just had to check that annoying number, and honestly, it could cause a fair bit of hassle if say, your partner saw it pop up on your phone. My tip? Just don’t bother responding. It’s not meant for you anyway. This is the second pointless message I’ve got this week. Seriously, who are these losers, and how on earth did they manage to get my digits?

Got a message like this the other day sayin, "Hey love, are u free? Still up for some casual fun? If yes, hit me up and we can sort it out. Let me know!" If you see this kind of text, best to just ignore it and not respond.

Got a rude text from this number earlier, deleted it straight away

Really should be reported! They’ve probably been ringing my landline too but never leave any details or messages, I don’t answer anyway haha, so guess now they’re trying my mobile instead! What idiots! xx
