Thing is, we don’t have any problems with the intercom at all. It’s a bit creepy they knew my phone number and our full address, even though they never said a name.

Claiming to be from the Inland Revenue offering a rebate on a P60 - who do these numpties think they are! Honestly, I wish O2 would just block their number for good and stop this nonsense. Honestly, Ofcom should step in and make this routine to prevent it altogether. I've reported them to the City of London online fraud unit, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they get a visit from them soon for some serious questioning.

It seems like they are targeting individuals who may be in a financial bind due to excessive borrowing. Perhaps these tenants could be problematic characters such as alcoholics or drug addicts, and they are trying to find an unsuspecting person who will take on the loan.
