Today, I got a message from this number saying they’re a shower and radiator firm and that my order will get delivered on 4th Feb, with the driver calling me first. I’ll post back once my radiator shows up. Meanwhile, I’ve raised a complaint with B&Q about their choice of delivery partner and the suspicious website they’re using.

Got a message that said something like, "Dear customer, we're a shower and radiator firm. Your delivery is set for Monday (29th Sept). The driver will get in touch before arriving. If you've got any returns, please have them in the original box. Cheers." The thing is, I never placed any order like this. When I rang the number back, it said the number I'd dialled was wrong. Bit strange, really.

I received a message about a parcel delivery from an online company dealing in showers and radiators. When I checked, I hadn’t ordered anything directly but had placed an order with ManoMano, who work with several suppliers. So it might have been a genuine delivery, not entirely sure. DHL gave a heads-up that something from Plumbworld would be arriving within a specific hour. They actually showed up sooner and left the package with my neighbour without telling me. But after chatting online with the bathroom cabinet seller I’d bought from, it turned out to be genuine. The driver rang me just before turning up yesterday.

Maybe just a coincidence but I got some delivery details from Ebay which seemed normal, just confirming something I ordered. Then out of the blue, 24 hours later, I get this message from a really sketchy number, no seller info, no mention of me or my Ebay name, nothing about the order I placed. There’s no way it’s legit or a change from Ebay itself. Feels like one of those spoof spam messages. I’ll keep an eye on it and update if anything worth saying comes up. I bought a radiator from B&Q through a third-party seller called Sky Bathrooms. Shortly after, I got a text message from what looked like an online shower and bathroom shop, telling me my delivery was set for 11th Dec and that the driver would ring me beforehand. I received some texts that appeared to be from my daughter, claiming she was using a friend's phone and providing a new number for me to use for replies. I got a text from this number asking if I’d made a payment to someone called Jordan Thomas and whether I’d verified a cheque online. Wasn't expecting it and pretty relieved I looked into it first!

Got a text saying something about a payment to Jordan Thomas with a link to verify it. Sounds like a total scam or some dodgy fraud attempt to me. Wouldn't click that link if I were you.

Got a call from this number but all I heard was silence except for some weird robot voice saying "Megal Edline Placements". Definitely seems like a scam to me. If they ring again, I’m gonna pick up and keep them chatting for ages just to annoy them back.

On August 28th 2018, I got a message from 07860021976 saying something like "Hi, I'm Alex, I came across your property online. Are you open to lease purchase arrangements? Ring my 24-hour voicemail on 01482961931 to hear more." Pretty sure it was just a dodgy scam, so I just wiped the text straight away.

I got a message from this number saying something about job placements with Retail Maxim. It told me to ring 01543496900 and mention reference #41236. But since it never said who exactly was behind the message, I’m not bothering to call back.

Got a message saying streetwisepromotions[###] updated their privacy policy because of GDPR or something. I've never come across them until now. Looks like spam to me.

Got a text out of the blue about a rental property they’ve got listed at the moment. The person wanted to know if the place could be leased with an option to buy or rented to own. They told me to ring this number: 01482 961961, but it didn’t feel right at all, so I decided to block it straight away.

Got a message from these jokers too. Clearly, someone’s out there trading our phone numbers. For the record, I don’t have any kids, and I definitely don’t need a 12v ride-on car. Blocked them right away.

Got a message off these jokers selling licence 12v ride-on cars for toddlers. Problem is, I dont have any young kids nor do I know anyone who does. When are they gonna understand, I dont bother replying to junk texts. Blocked the number straight away.

Just got a text from some place called "My Choice Funeral Plans" trying to sell me a funeral package. I shot back a message telling them to jog on and called them a bunch of fatherless clowns! Proper cheeky if you ask me.
