I received the same dodgy message from these scammers. Don't pick up the phone; just ignore it, otherwise, you'll end up with a bill. Better to just delete it!

It’s clear to us where these calls are originating from. Perhaps it would make sense to give their manager a bell; her personal mobile is 0793 222 7451. Just a heads-up though-he can be quite the bully.

If you're with Vodafone, you'll need to prefix your message to 7726 with an '8', whereas those on the 3 network should kick off with a '3'.

I've received the same spam text as well! Just pass it along to 7726 (that's the spam reporting number), and it should reach your mobile provider. They ought to take action and report it to OfCom.

I received a message that reads: "MMO (Mercom Oil Sands) has announced some FANTASTIC NEWS - There’s enormous growth potential for this share in 2012/13 --> Take a look at this exciting investment opportunity now!!!" What on earth is going on here? Is this some sort of con?
