Beware of this Argos scam! They actually had my name and order number, which freaked me out. I double-checked with Argos and my order was legitimate. Next day, I got calls from private numbers claiming to be Argos, asking for my full address. I told them to buzz off. I reported it to Argos, and they suggested my email might have been compromised. Since loads of people are getting these calls linked only to Argos, it feels like either someone inside's messing about or they've been hacked. Just don't respond - they’ll try to find out when you’re home “to deliver your package.” Feels more like they want to know when the place is empty. Never hand over your info!

Just got a message saying my Argos order delivery's been held up, but how on earth do they have my order number? Seems a bit weird to me.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Argos, same old scam really. Was surprised they seemed to know about my order. Rang Argos myself and they confirmed the order was genuine and still being processed.

Got a message saying my Argos delivery was delayed and to reply yes for a new delivery date. I replied but never got any response. Later I rang Argos directly and they told me my delivery was still scheduled as planned. Honestly, sounds dodgy to me, probably a scam.
