Absolutely dodgy! I received a call that claimed to be from my bank, but it was actually this personal mobile number. They told me my card had been charged at End Clothing and even recited the last four digits of my card. It's outrageous! The phone provider needs to get on the case and identify this lowlife. I’m writing from Surrey by the way.

I got a message purporting to be from Lloyd's Bank about some suspicious activity on my card. It definitely seems like a scam to me!

I've received several dodgy calls supposedly from Halifax, saying there's been some suspicious activity linked to my account. First, I got a couple of calls, and then a text popped up as well. I suspect it's just a con artist up to no good!

I just had a similar experience, and I responded with a firm no.

What a complete con! I received a message from a number claiming to be Lloyds (though it wasn’t actually Lloyds Bank), stating, “You’ll soon get a text from Lloyds Bank to verify some recent activity on your card that ends in (the last four digits of my card number).” Following that, I got another message from the same dodgy number. I called customer services, and guess what? They had no record of any such transactions whatsoever! Honestly, steer clear of replying to texts like these. Always use the number on your card to reach customer services instead!

Received a text message claiming to be from Lloyds (not Lloyds Bank, mind you) inquiring whether I had made a particular online transaction. Quite the odd message, if you ask me!
