I've noticed that my phone has been sending quite a few roaming messages to this number, or variations of it with just the last digit changed. I came across some information elsewhere suggesting that this could be linked to an Apple iMessage activation service. Quite annoying, really!

I recently had my phone nicked, and I noticed this number called me. However, I’m unable to get through when I try to contact them.

I received a phone call about life insurance, and to my surprise, the caller knew my name. When I inquired about the source of my number, especially since I'm registered with the Telephone Preference Service, she assured me that she would remove it from their list. But honestly, she said that during our last conversation too! These companies are nothing short of dreadful. I reckon they deserve more than just a slap on the wrist for this nuisance; they ought to face community service for the hassle they cause. It's high time they were publicly shamed for their unscrupulous tactics!
