Got a call from 07858 319 789, said they were from the FCA about some high interest debts. When I asked for his full name to verify it on the FCA register, he got all defensive. I then said I’d report him to the coppers and he hung up straight away. Sounded like he had an accent from abroad.

I'd say best not to pick up, they earn cash from those service fees. Noticed a weird small charge on my bill, looked up the number and found out theres a service fee attached. They cash in every time someone answers, so it adds up quick. Telecom providers really should block these kinda numbers.

Got a call from some bloke called Tony saying I'd applied for a loan, I told him nope, never done that. Right after, his attitude changed. Funny thing is, it sounded just like that dodgy call I got yesterday from someone claiming to be from citizens advice. Mate of mine runs the Wales branch and told me they don’t ring from mobiles, and only ever call if you’ve arranged a callback from their proper office number. These scammers are relentless, feels like it’ll never end.
