Got a call from these lot today, said they were from citizens advice and were ringing about some government programme for interest on loans, debts, and store cards or something. They made it sound proper legit, I’ll give them that. But then I got suspicious because surely the government would send a letter rather than just phoning me out of the blue. Seemed a bit dodgy if you ask me.

Got a call from this number telling me I owed a load of money. I asked where they were from and wanted details about the supposed debt. Suddenly, the person started yelling that I was the one who should give info. Then he said something I didn’t catch properly, I asked him to repeat and he just kept saying “can I f### you”. I ended the call and blocked them immediately!

Got a call from someone claiming to be with the criminal investigation bureau saying I owed money. My daughter answered and just straight up told them good luck trying to get cash from someone who’s dead, then she hung up. We know there’s no debt at all.

Got a call from some debt collection place, and the bloke wouldn’t let me get a word in edgeways, just kept going “no no no no” every time I tried to say something. Couldn’t catch his name or much else ‘cos there was loads of noise in the background. Eventually, I had to shout, “No! You listen here! If there’s an issue, just send it in writing!” Proper frustrating, grrr!
