Got a recorded call claiming 'bank security' had spotted dodgy transactions on my account. When I tried 1471 to check the number, it turned out to be one of those premium rate lines - so calling back just means handing over your cash. If you manage to speak with someone, it’s a fraudster trying to convince you to create a ‘secure account’ and move your money there. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!! Neither your bank nor the police would ever ask you to do something like that. These lot are proper con artists and absolute lowlifes.
