Like a few folks here, I just said hi. They've begun sending messages through RCS now, so I’m curious if the message actually shows up. After checking out the reviews on this site, I decided to block the number straight away.

Just like others have said, they only messaged "hello." It’s a common trick scammers use to check if your number works, so they can try to trick you into giving out personal info. If you reply, it might even lead to some phishing scam. Best not to respond at all.
