A guy asked for me by my first name, saying he was calling from Domestik & General or something like that. There was a lot of background noise like a busy call centre, so it sounded pretty dodgy. He told me I had insurance with them, paying £8 a month, and that they could lower it to £5. I asked which appliance he meant since I have a few covered. It’s definitely a scam from one of those premium rate lines. Best thing to do is just ignore and hang up.
