Got a call from an Indian bloke claiming to be with the NHS, asking about covid symptoms and if I had any major health problems. He kept saying "that's good" after every answer. Then he asked about my private health insurance and who it was through, saying he needed to file a report because folks with covid weren’t getting paid. After a while I told him he wasn’t really from the NHS, but he kept insisting he was, said he was in Manchester. Ended up just hanging up and will be blocking the number. Don’t share any of your details with these types.

Got a call from an Indian guy saying he needed to update my NHS info. He brought up an ancient postcode where I lived back in 2012. When I asked how I could be sure he was really with the NHS, he got kinda jittery and kept repeating the same stuff again and again. I just hung up because it felt dodgy. Been watching loads of scam vids on YouTube, so I can spot these ones a mile off. Hope no one gets tricked by this. Stay careful!

I told him I was with the FBI and my covid was all sorted (obviously not true, I’m in the UK) and he just cut off straight away! This woman said she was calling on behalf of the NHS, asking if anyone in my family had symptoms of COVID. I told her, if she really was from the NHS, she should ring me back on the official 0800 NHS number. I also told her not to bother calling again. She sounded like she was calling me from a pub or something!

Just got a call from this number about 10 minutes ago. The bloke said he was from some "National Service" in Manchester. He was Indian and started asking me to verify stuff and wanted to check how we’re coping with COVID. Felt dodgy right away and he told me to expect any covid-related info from my GP or surgery! Proper scam if you ask me. I'm Indian too, so this just feels awful. Hope no one more vulnerable gets caught out by this.

Got a call from this number today. They kept using my old married name which I ditched like 4 years ago, said something about NHS COVID-19 stuff. The bloke had a loud, busy background and sounded Indian. I told him it was the wrong number and just ended the call.

I told her she gave me a proper fright and shouldn’t be calling folks like that, and then she just ended the call.

Got a call where they wanted me to verify my name and address for some NHS register, and asked if I needed any assistance. Got a call claiming to be from the NHS about Covid. They just had my first name and some old address I lived at ages ago. When I questioned them, they quickly ended the call. They obviously didn’t know about the NHS England and NHS Scotland difference. Like alot of folks here, I got a call full of that usual call centre racket, someone saying they were from the NHS. They kept grilling me about health stuff and covid, even asked the same questions twice. Then they went on about if i had complaints about the NHS. I hung up straight away cos if I had any issues, I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t be sorted out by some call centre overseas, not the real NHS.

Got a call from someone claiming to be NHS asking if I’ve had covid before... I just ended the call straight away.

Got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent claiming he was from NHS Track and Trace. He wanted to check if I or anyone at home was feeling unwell, asked if I’d got the app, and if I’d visited any doctors recently. Then out of nowhere, he started asking about my life insurance and how much I pay, saying companies won’t pay out because of Covid! I couldn’t help but laugh and told him I work for the NHS and that he was talking nonsense. He just hung up on me - very cheeky! Definitely block this number.

I got a call from a woman claiming to be from the NHS, but her accent was really thick and I struggled to get what she was saying. Instead of clearing things up, she just ended the call. I've gone ahead and blocked that number now!

Got a call from a man speaking with an Indian accent claiming he was with the NHS Track and Trace team. He asked if I was feeling alright and if anyone in my home had any symptoms. Then he wanted to know whether I’d installed their app and if I’d visited any doctors lately. Suddenly, he started asking about my life insurance premiums, saying companies aren’t paying out claims because of Covid! I couldn’t help but laugh and told him I actually work for the NHS, so his story was total nonsense. He ended the call abruptly - pretty cheeky if you ask me. Definitely block this number!

I got a call from someone saying they were with the NHS, asking if anyone in my family had shown any COVID symptoms. They also asked whether I was using the NHS track and trace app. Then they wanted me to confirm my address, but they gave me a postcode I hadn’t lived at for over a decade! That’s when I got really wary because I know my NHS records are completely current. I told them I didn’t think they were genuine and ended the call. Not sure what their angle was, but it definitely felt dodgy to me!

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent talking about my track and trace... I told her I don’t even use track and trace. When I asked if she was trying to sell me something, she just hung up on me! Proper rude that was... blocked her straight away!!

Got a call from someone claiming to be NHS Covid, asking about symptoms and if I'd got their app. Problem was, they had my previous address on file. Ended up just hanging up.

I got a call from a woman with a foreign accent saying she was calling on behalf of the NHS to verify my info. She wanted to know if I'd installed the Covid app and if anyone in my household was showing symptoms. Then she mentioned an outdated postcode, which made me suspicious. When I asked how I could be sure she was really from the NHS, she couldn’t give me a proper answer. I explained I’m always in touch with my GP and they reach out to me themselves. After that, she just ended the call.

Got a call supposedly from the NHS, saying they needed to update my info about Covid. But then they quickly shifted the conversation to ask about any insurance we have besides the NHS, which seemed a bit dodgy to me!

Someone said it was from the NHS, but I reckon they’re lying. Anyone who tries to scam you using Covid stuff is just dodgy and dangerous, so I'm flagging it as unsafe.

Got a call from a woman with a strong foreign accent claiming to be from the NHS. She wanted to know if anyone at my address was experiencing symptoms and whether I’d installed the ‘coronavirus app’ on my mobile. Oddly, she only had my old name and postcode and asked for updated info for their records. I told her the NHS already has all that info and she should be able to see it in their database. She then insisted she was from another department. Didn’t feel right, so I just hung up.

Someone rang me claiming the NHS record had the wrong name and address. The phone kept making weird beeping noises, and when I started asking questions, they just hung up on me.

Absolutely a scam, don’t give them any details at all. Why would NHS Track and Trace ring you out of the blue unless you tested positive for COVID? They claimed to be from Track and Trace, but that was a lie. They kept asking about my family and life insurance info, then I asked where they really were calling from because it didn’t add up. Right after I said that, she just said thanks and hung up on me.

Got a call claiming to be from NHS Test and Track about updating vaccine records. They gave me the wrong postcode at first. Then they switched to asking about my Life Insurance, which seemed odd. I kept asking why they needed that info, but they dodged the question every time. After I kept pressing them, they just cut the call. Definitely felt fishy.
