Naturally, I decided to double-check with Three Network directly, and indeed, they confirmed they were aware of the call. Although it's somewhat unclear, we have a nagging suspicion that these individuals may be sharing our phone information with various companies looking to offer us 'better deals.' It does seem, however, that this particular outfit was primarily interested in obtaining our contact information. Quite the shady practice, if you ask me!
