I've been getting text messages prompting me to settle a postal surcharge for some parcel delivery, though they haven't specified what the parcel is.

Someone called me saying I’d been near a person who tested positive for omicron and that I should take a PCR test. But I know for sure none of the people I've been around have any covid. They sent me to a site called healthcareuk.com, which felt a bit off to me. So I looked up the number on here and yep, it’s definitely a scam. Just watch out for this!

I was told my claim went through and they sent me a ref number for £3300. When I asked who was refunding me the PPI, they said Barclays Bank, but I never even borrowed from them. Then the person just ended the call.

Got a text today saying I've been near someone with Omicron and to pay 99p for a PCR test. It definitely wasn’t from the NHS, seemed dodgy to me.

Had a call from a number pretty much the same as this one a couple weeks ago. The person said they were from O2 and wanted to sell me a new mobile contract that was better. They then told me to send info by text to a different phone number. I just ended the call right there.

I got a message from this number saying, "We have recognised you as someone in contact with an individual who has recently tested positive for the Omicron variant. Kindly arrange to have a PCR test done."

I got a message from this number saying, "We've noted that you're connected to someone who has recently been diagnosed with Omicron. Kindly arrange for a PCR test." It seems dodgy to me, especially since they want my card details to process the payment for the test. I have a strong feeling this is a scam.

I received a message stating that I've been in touch with someone who tested positive for the Omicron variant, advising me to schedule a PCR test through a link they provided. It directed me to what appeared to be the official NHS site for ordering the test. At first glance, it seems alright, but given my own situation and the phone number that called me, I can't shake off the feeling that it might be a scam of some sort. Quite concerning, really!

Just to add my two pence worth. I'm hailing from Newport in Wales, and my phone flagged up this number as a potential scam. Being retired means I haven’t had the chance to mingle much or make acquaintances in recent times.
