Today I got a call and an automated voice said it was from HMRC, telling me to press 1 if I wanted to speak to an officer. I didn’t press anything and the call just dropped on its own. Sounds like a scam to me. I’ve had calls like this before from different numbers but just ignored them. I figured if it was important they’d ring back or send a letter. Guess it’s one of those dodgy calls like from random brokers or traders.
