Got a text from this number claiming to be the Department for Work and Pensions, saying I’d missed giving info for the Winter Heating Allowance and if I don’t send it, my payment will be stopped not just this year but next ones too. Thing is, the real DWP wouldn’t ask for anything like that since they already hold all my details, and they wouldn’t normally reach out from a mobile phone. Definitely seems dodgy to me.
