Got a call from someone claiming to be with National Gateways. They tried to get me to give out personal info to supposedly claim mileage expenses for commuting to work. But as far as I know, HMRC doesn’t let you claim for travel to your job, so I’m pretty sure this is dodgy. Watch out for this one.

apparently they said i missed out on claiming my tax refund or something like that

So they said they were some kind of government site and then asked me for my insurance number. They also told me to log into some sketchy website, but when I checked it out, it definitely wasn’t a government page. Felt really dodgy to me.
