Got this message saying “hey mum, just smashed my phone, can you help me out?” - classic scam, don’t fall for it. Pretty sneaky how they try to play on your emotions by faking family stuff. Just ignore and block, definitely not your kid.

Got a weird text just now saying "Hey mum, I've broken my phone, please reply on WhatsApp 447394328439 ASAP x I'm using a mate's phone." Bit fishy since I'm not her, I'm her husband. Definitely blocking this number.
