Got a call from a bloke speaking with a foreign accent, claiming he was from Amazon’s security team. He told me someone had just bought an iPhone for about 600 quid using my account. Then he asked if I wanted to cancel the order, and of course I said yeah. After that, he said he’d emailed me a verification code and wanted me to read it out to him. The whole thing felt a bit dodgy so I just ended the call straight away.
