I just received a call from the exact same number, and an Asian fellow claimed to represent some sort of Microsoft Gold Partnership. He mentioned they’d like to check my computer’s Event Viewer. Apparently, there were errors that could result in my internet being abruptly cut off. When we started asking probing questions, he got quite irate, exclaiming, “Just do this; I’m here to help!” Next, he wanted us to connect our computer for some reason and even dished out what he claimed was our personal data. We told him where to go and hung up. The number called back again, and I've reported the whole event to the police.

We received a call from an Asian gentleman claiming to represent Microsoft, warning us that our computer was riddled with a serious virus. He suggested that if we accessed their website, they could remedy the situation. However, we promptly hung up, as it's well known that Microsoft never makes those kinds of calls. Best to stay cautious!

Absolutely infuriating! We've had this same old rigmarole with our computer acting up. It’s been ringing twice daily with these mysterious calls - but today, for the very first time, we actually managed to track down a number. I’m quite fed up with the whole situation. Is there anywhere we can lodge a complaint about this nonsense?

I recently received a call from this number, claiming to be Pex support. Given that my computer has been acting up quite a bit lately, I thought I’d return the call and then stumbled upon this site. Honestly, I'm quite unsettled by the fact that the person on the other end, who purported to be in the UK but sounded distinctly Asian, had my personal details-name and address, no less! We asked to ring him back at the provided landline number, yet it wouldn’t connect at all. Quite the dodgy situation, if you ask me!

Received a call from this number earlier today. We answered, but the folks on the other end hung up right away.

I recently received a call from a number that mirrored my own, and the individual on the other end was an Asian gentleman claiming to be affiliated with a Microsoft gold partnership. He insisted he needed access to our computer's event viewer because, according to him, we had some errors that needed addressing. Instinctively, we felt uneasy about the whole situation, so we terminated the call. When we probed for more information, the caller became quite aggressive, demanding we comply with his requests as he was "trying to assist." Strangely, he even had details about our address! We firmly told him to get lost and hung up. The number hasn't attempted to call back, and I've gone ahead and reported the incident to the authorities for good measure.

Received a call today from an Asian gentleman. His English wasn’t particularly clear, so I struggled to grasp which company he was representing. He kept going on about our Sky dish, despite us insisting that it’s none of his concern. When he boldly proclaimed that it was his business to ask me questions, we clarified that it was actually our business to withhold any information. He then asked, “How am I supposed to resolve this issue?” To which we simply replied, “We understand, but I’m cutting this conversation short.” And that’s exactly what I did.

Received a call today from an Asian gentleman who struggled with his English. He seemed unsure about the company he was representing. The conversation turned awkward when he inquired about our Sky dish, and we made it clear that this wasn't something he should be asking us about. When he declared that it was his business to ask, we firmly replied that it was indeed our business to withhold any information. He then questioned, "How am I meant to resolve this matter?", to which I simply said, "I understand, but I'm going to hang up now," and did just that.

We also received a call from this number, but opted not to answer. Oddly enough, I noticed that prior to the call, we encountered a significant issue with our laptop-an alarming blue screen error appeared just an hour beforehand, then it powered down on its own. Could it be that these individuals are trying to get into our computer? It's rather suspicious, wouldn't you say?

We recently received a rather similar call from an Asian gentleman who claimed there was a problem with our computer. Just like many others on this site, we’re not foolish and started questioning him about his identity. He repeated that there were “issues” with our computer, so we decided to hang up. Our system is loaded with so much spyware that nobody could breach it, but it is unsettling to think that some folks might fall for such scams. We even tried ringing the number back, but it didn’t go through. Cheers, Sam

We've received a call from this number as well. We chose not to pick up, but it's quite intriguing. After going through many of the other comments, we experienced some alarming glitches on our laptop-a dreaded blue screen of death-just an hour prior to the call, which ultimately resulted in a shutdown. Could it be that these individuals are trying to infiltrate our devices somehow?

I received a phone call earlier today from an Asian gentleman claiming to represent Microsoft’s online support. He informed me that my computer was infested with malware and functioning sluggishly. When we inquired about his location, he mentioned he was calling from London. We asked for a callback number, but he abruptly hung up. As a new user at the age of 67 and quite inexperienced with technology, I’m quite anxious about this. How on earth do these individuals come across our names and numbers? I’m worried about sharing personal information that I shouldn’t.

Received a call from 07813821921 (UK). They were trying to con us into giving them access to our computer. Thoroughly relentless, but honestly, they didn't seem very clever at all.

At 7:30 PM on Tuesday, the 4th of May 2010, I received a call on my home phone from an individual of Asian descent, who insisted that I had allegedly downloaded some “graphics” and was quoting Microsoft jargon. She claimed she would assist us in cleaning up our computer. While I may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, I certainly wasn’t born yesterday! Her pushy nature made it clear that she expected us to comply, asserting that it could save our troubled machine. The whole thing reeked of something fishy, to say the least! It’s high time the authorities took action against these tricksters.

I've been getting calls from this number lately, but it’s always silent when I pick up. When I tried ringing them back, I ended up on hold for ages, which makes me think it's some sort of automated system. I'm just holding out hope they'll call back so I can put an end to these incessant rings. If they do start claiming to work for a "Microsoft partner" like so many others have mentioned, I won't hesitate to report the number and the calls.

We received a rather questionable call last night from some individuals claiming to be affiliated with Microsoft Support. The chap on the other end had a thick accent and the call quality was absolutely dreadful. He instructed us to tap the Windows key- you know, the one adorned with the little flags- and then hit "R." Naturally, we complied, which brought up an event log. The next thing we know, they're asking us how many warning error messages we had, and we mentioned there were quite a few. At that point, we decided it was best to hang up. I tried to call back, but oddly enough, the number wasn’t recognised. After a bit of digging around, I found your site, and it seems we've definitely been targeted in a scam.
