We got a call on both our landlines and it was an automated voice telling us our internet would be cut off in a day. The message then asked us to press different numbers on the phone depending on who our internet supplier was. Quite a strange thing to get out of the blue!

Someone rang me saying they were from BT, then handed me over to a "senior technician" who repeated pretty much the same stuff as the first caller. They said there were some error messages coming from my internet and if I used my computer, they could fix it. Their English was really hard to follow and sounded quite broken.

I just got a call from someone pretending to be BT trying to get my bank info, said I was owed money from an old bill. Told me it's a scam!
