I got a call from 077885563 earlier today, it was some automated message telling me that my internet would be disconnected within the next day or two unless I call back to talk about some supposed illegal stuff linked to my internet. Felt kinda dodgy to me.

Some bloke rang saying he was from my internet company, saying they’d shut off my service in a day if I didn’t sort something out.

I've had a couple of calls from this particular number, but sadly the reception was dreadful, making it near impossible to catch what the female caller was trying to convey. Usually, I avoid picking up if I don’t recognise the number flashing on my screen, but I made an exception this time since the first three digits match the mobile codes used in my locality. I’m quite keen to find out who’s behind these calls.

I received a couple of calls from this number yesterday, but didn’t answer them. However, today I decided to pick up, as it was a mobile number. To my surprise, a recorded voice informed me that £200 was set to be withdrawn from my account unless I pressed 1. Naturally, I pressed it out of concern. After that, I contacted my bank, and they assured me that no transactions had been authorised or cancelled, advising me not to fret. Still, the whole situation has left me feeling quite anxious, so I keep checking my balance to make sure nothing goes awry.

Absolute con artists, really hope these dodgy scammers get what’s coming to them. Have already sent a report off to Action Fraud.

It’s the exact same story but then the line just went dead,they even rang my mobile which is only given to a small number of ppl so how on earth did they get hold of that number? I’m kinda thinking it could be one of the big online firms who have access to customers phone details (both landlines and mobiles) cause it seems a bit fishy to me!

Got a call from someone with a US accent, claiming my card was charged at Walmart. They told me to press 1 to stop the payment. Definitely another nasty scam.
