Sounds like the usual stuff, they’re pretending it’s about renewing some contract or whatever. Legit companies don’t normally text you from a mobile and almost never display their number like that. I was tempted to reply just to find out what they wanted, but glad I didn’t. I’ve blocked the number now, and I’d recommend doing the same.

Got a message like that yesterday evening, but I've never had Sky before. Plus, It was obvious something was off cos they wrote my name starting with a lowercase letter! If anyone’s got a Vodafone number, maybe give em a ring since they might recognise who’s using it. We received a text from this number, and it appears to be linked to a finance company, probably one of those dodgy ones. It’s likely they’re connected to some sort of loan application. We suspect they reached out to us because of a rather foolish payday loan we applied for. It seems our details might have been sold off for their gain. When we tried to give them a ring back, the line wouldn’t take our call. In the end, we just told them to shove off.
